| Hello, |
|
| On May 12th 1967 the world first heard the music of Jimi Hendrix, with the release of his first Album "Are You Experienced." And today exactly 40 years later, the world will experience the rest of Hendrix's genius, with the first official release of his visual art and the art of his written lyrics. |
|
| Limelight Agency with Area Arts, has been given the honor by the Hendrix family to be the only official publisher and distributor of Jimi Hendrix's visual works. Through this landmark partnership, Limelight's official galleries will be the first to offer this collection to the millions of fans around the world who have waited for this very opportunity. |
| |
| Even in death the music and words of Jimi Hendrix has lived on, grown and gaining multitudes of fans with every generation. But the music is all there has ever been for the droves of devotees to hold on to. The only way fans have been able to tangibly embrace their love for Jimi has been either on the high-side, the occasional rare collectable for tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars, found in the random Sotheby's auction or on the low-side posters/T-shirts and of course the albums. Until now. |

The Paintings |
|
| As is occasionally the case with the very talented, Jimi did not limit his creative expression to only his guitar. Along with his music he has left us with a small but wonderful body of beautiful paintings and drawings done in artistic styles very similar to his music. Much like in his recordings, Jimi produced lyrical landscapes that the mind could run free in, and abstract works that rise off the paper like psychedelic notes pulled from the air. For the devotee to the music the images will be recognizable as places and feelings they have been brought to before, through the power of Jimi's music. |

The Lyrics |
|
| Jimi's poetic words have come to feel as if they have always been there, they are fixtures in our contemporary culture. To see them for the first time as they were thought-onto-paper will give pause to anyone. But to the millions of fans who's lives have been touched by these very lyrics, it is much like unearthing something holy. And to be able to have them on their own wall... |
| |
| We have reproduced Hendrix's original lyrics just as they would have been seen the day he wrote them. They have all been scanned in the highest resolution and reproduced with archival fine art printing and media. |
