Stephen Holland Serves Roger Federer
Once again Stephen Holland has continued in his tradition of painting the best of the best. In recent months we have seen amazing works of Tiger Woods, Yogi Berra, Brando, and soon Kobe. And in the world of tennis to paint the best in the 21st century, means only one person Roger Federer.

In 2001 a very young 20 year old Federer put the tennis world on notice by winning his first ATP victory in Milan. During that very same month he won a total of three matches in the Davis Cup victory.

41"x 28" Hand Enhanced Giclee on Canvas Edition of 99, Signed by Rodger Federer

He's the most gifted player that I've ever seen in my life. I've seen a lot of people play. I've seen the (Rod) Lavers, I played against some of the great players—the Samprases, Beckers, Connors', Borgs, you name it. This guy could be the greatest of all time. That, to me, says it all. – John McEnroe.

Since then Federer has never lost his stride. In 2002 he became the first player in 14 years to win three out of four Grand Slam singles tournaments, and would repeat it again in 2006. For the past three consecutive years he has won both the US and the Wimbledon Singles titles. A feat no player has come close to. This year he continues to hold the worlds number one rank in tennis.

Like other greats, Federer is much more then a champion, he is symbol and embodiment of the love fans have world wide for tennis. Holland has captured in this same vane the triumphant zeal Federer brings to the game, his trademark grace on the court and the spirit of tennis itself.
